A QUICK GUIDE TO THE SECTIONS WITHIN THE SPORTS CLUB: 2011/12 |
| ATHLETIC Senior membership: £70 Junior (under 20): £60 Annual membership runs from 1st April. Reduced rates apply for anybody joining after 30th September. Membership forms, online payment / renewal and membership queries can all be pursued via our website. |
BOXING

Membership fee for Registered Boxers: £12.00 Subscription for each training session: £2.50 Males and females between the ages of 10 and 34 years are welcome to apply for membership of the club. |
CRICKET
Senior membership: £125 In addition there is a thriving youth section where youngsters from age 7 can enrol. The cost of the coaching is £60. |
| HOCKEY
Senior membership: £120 ** ** £10 reduction if paid by 31/10/2011 Note that juniors (under age of 16) can also enrol for training/ coaching (only) at the Stratford High School all-weather facility; the charge is £35. |
SNOOKER
Senior membership: £110 Note that all new members have to be formally proposed and seconded by an existing Club member. |
SQUASH
Full Senior membership: £160 Note that there is a range of other categories of membership to provide maximum flexibility, for example as Off Peak members. Full details of the application process can be found on the Squash Club’s website. |
| TENNIS
Senior membership: £195 Again, there is a range of other membership categories, including Off Peak and Summer only. Family membership “deals” are also very popular. An application form can be downloaded from the Tennis Club’s website. |
MULTI-SECTION MEMBERSHIP
We offer very attractive discounts to encourage multi-section membership. Should you wish to get further details of these, please contact the Club Manager, Sally Willes, and she will be delighted to calculate the figure for you! Simply ring: 01789 296629 |
SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP
Anybody can be considered for social membership only. This gives access to all of the Club’s social facilities and events, together with a Parking Permit which is valid whilst using the Club. The cost is £50.

| A message from the Sports Club's Chairman |
CHAIRMAN’S UPDATE Postal mailing to all Members: you will have had (or, if not, shortly will do so) a mailing from the Sports Club. I hope that this initiative has been welcomed! Within my letter you will see reference to a possible increase in membership fees and the reasons for this. This matter was discussed at our January Board Meeting and, with reluctance, a £5 increase in the annual subscription was recommended, subject to approval at the AGM. Some sections will have to "pass this on" to their Members, others will seek to absorb the increase within existing subscriptions.
Sports Club AGM: please note that the date for this is fixed at Thursday 22nd March, starting at 8 pm. Please come along to the meeting if you possibly can. It should last for about one hour. Questionnaire with regard to the Sports Club's services and facilities: the above mailing contains hard copy of this questionnaire. This can be completed manually and returned to the box on the bar at the Club. Alternatively, it may be completed and returned electronically via the Club's website. Finally, our webmaster, Ian Fradgley, has allocated a QR code to enable those who have a smart phone to access and return the survey in this way. Whichever means you decide upon, please do complete the questionnaire and ensure that replies are received by Friday 17th February. |
