Snooker hall re-roofing The re-felting of the roof is planned to start in early July and the works will take about 3 to 4 weeks subject to dry weather conditions. The work will be carried out on Mondays to Fridays between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm. Two tables at a time will not be available during the daytime. It is not envisaged that weekend working will take place. Arrangements have been made for the Contractor to use temporary covers during their working hours over two tables using plywood sheeting. At the end of each working day the plywood sheeting will be stacked at the side of the room to enable all tables to be used during the evenings and weekends. We have tried to minimise inconvenience to members and your co-operation and patience would be appreciated whilst the works are carried out. New members We are looking for new members of varying skills, so there maybe someone you know who would be interested in joining. Coaching sessions for current and new members are being planned for the autumn. Application forms for full members and student members are available from the bar. |
